I’m glad that you’ve taken time to learn more about our church, and I hope this website gives you a little glimpse into what we value and desire to be about as a family of faith.
We strive to keep things focused on two simple phrases: “making disciples” and “maturing disciples.” In short, we want to be a church that helps others connect with Jesus Christ in a saving relationship, and then we want to be a church that helps others grow in their relationship with Jesus. That’s the heart behind making and maturing disciples, and we like to think of it as the practical work ethic of what we do.
Of course, the best way to get to know us and what we’re about is to join us! Come and visit us for a few weeks and see for yourself what this family of faith is all about. I think what you’ll find is a great place for you and your family to be, with numerous opportunities for everyone to grow, serve, and develop in your faith. Hope to see you soon. When you visit, let us know that you learned about the church through the website. God bless you & yours!
We all have giants in our lives that can intimidate, defeat, and enslave us. They cast their long shadows over everything we desire to do, taunting that we will never be more or do better. As much as we would like to avoid them, God calls us to face them. With His presence in us, and His power working through us, we can stand tall and face the giants in our lives. We invite you to join us for our current teaching series “Facing the Giants.”
Hey SSBC family, if you're looking for the online version of the Future Directions Survey, click here.
We all have them, so we asked you to submit yours! We welcomed your questions about God, the Bible, life, morality, and anything else. No question was rejected, and no question will be avoided. We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings for Biblical answers to your questions. "You Asked For It" begins June 7th!
